RQ7-W5/41 — Duplomatic pilot-operated pressure relief valve
RQ7-W5/41 is an in-line pressure relief valve with BSP threaded ports, a pilot-operated main stage and a conical poppet seat. The RQ7-W body is rated for 400 l/min, with nominal dimension DN 40 according to catalogue 21 220/117. This NBR version has a pressure adjustment upper limit of 210 bar and standard screw adjustment.
The maximum operating pressure is 350 bar. The selected pressure range is a separate parameter: codes 3, 5 and 6 identify settings up to 70, 210 and 350 bar. Minimum controlled pressure and pressure rise with flow depend on the operating point; use the characteristic curves for sizing. The pilot-operated design allows pump flow to pass through the relief path near the pressure setting, with wide internal passages to limit pressure losses.
Connections and adjustment
The P pressure inlet is 1 1/4 inch BSP, and the T outlet is 1 1/2 inch BSP. Remote pressure piloting is available through the separate 1/4 inch BSP X port; the pressure gauge connection is 3/8 inch BSP. Match the complete port arrangement to the hydraulic circuit and check return-line conditions before installation.
The standard hexagonal-head pressure screw uses a 13 mm spanner. Clockwise rotation increases the pressure setting. Standard NBR seals are intended for mineral hydraulic oils HL/HM according to ISO 6743-4. FPM/Viton versions require a separate specification.
